Shixuan Li's "Rhythm of the City"

Shixuan Li 李仕绚 is a contemporary painter. She was born in 1984, graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts with a master's degree.

The work "Rhythm of the City" was inspired by a woman standing outside the window of a medieval store looking at the objects inside. The sense of space refracted by the glass gave the artist the idea of creation. Comprehensive materials are used in the picture to represent the same scene of ancient Roman plaster human heads and ancient Chinese calligraphy and painting, as well as elements of Chinese classical graphics and text patterns on the picture, giving the picture a multi-dimensional feeling.
