Ming Yan, an outstanding Chinese poetic ink painter.

Ming Yan 晏明, a poetic Chinese painter. Yan was born in Yangzhou in 1961. He graduated from the China Academy of Art (formerly the National Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts) in 1988. He was the director of the calligraphy and painting creation room of Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum, painter, and a national first-class artist. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association. He is a judge of the National Arts Fund, a judge of senior professional titles in art in Jiangsu Province, a director of the International Cultural Exchange Center of Jiangsu Province, a director of the Overseas Friendship Association of Jiangsu Province, a part-time professor of the Art Department of Kennesaw University in Georgia, and a visiting professor of National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
